Credentials that inspire trust

When it comes to something as important as your health, you want a high level of care backed by credentials that instill confidence. Dr. Kotulski earned his doctor of osteopathy degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and has completed many years of advanced training and education. His experience spans 20 years, including three years as an osteopathic medicine physician from world-renowned Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Kotulski is also one of only a few osteopaths in the United States who are triple board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and American Board of Holistic Medicine. He has met the highest standards of his profession for three separate medical boards.

He is also an adjunct professor at Midwestern University, where he teaches osteopathic medicine and family medicine to other doctors.

Compassion and the will to heal

The will to heal runs deep at Between the Bridges Healing Center. There’s evidence all around you. From the carefully landscaped campus and holistic architecture to the indirect natural lighting and organic art, you’ll know that this is not your typical doctor’s office. This is a special place for healing.

You will never feel rushed here. Dr. Kotulski takes the time to understand your condition and explain your treatment options. He encourages family members to join you when you visit. And he’ll teach you how to get and stay healthy.

Beyond thorough exams

After looking at your symptoms and pinpointing the source of your pain or dysfunction, he’ll develop a customized treatment plan designed for effective, long-lasting relief. With his “whole-body” functional medicine approach to care, he will look at things outside of your physical condition, including mental and emotional factors (home, work and family), sleep habits, diet and more.

What we treat

While we don’t have a cancer cure, we can provide alternative cancer treatment for people with cancer symptoms. We can help people with ALS disease, Parkinson’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome and chronic fatigue syndrome symptoms, obesity and child obesity, gastrointestinal and digestive problems (leaky gut syndrome and other digestive system disorders), joint pain and chronic illness. We offer specialized rheumatoid arthritis treatment and chronic fatigue syndrome treatment. In fact, we are one of very few centers offering chronic fatigue syndrome treatment.

Here are some of the things our patients are saying...

In 2006 I was faced with the news everyone dreads. “You have grade 4 lung cancer – the non smoking kind and have 4-6 months to live.” The bottom dropped out of my world! Everyone I love suffered with me, it was apparent on their faces and in their eyes. I could hear their hearts breaking as they rallied to care for me in order to meet my needs.
