Dr. Kunkel was born and raised in Mankato. She is Mankato’s first and only registered Naturopathic Doctor. Her approach to patient care involves harnessing the healing power of nature to address the root cause of disease, instead of just covering up symptoms.

Dr. Kunkel treats a wide range of conditions, and truly individualizes treatment plans based on the patient’s needs. She has a passion for botanical medicine which can be custom formulated for each patient. She also encourages her patients to create room in their lives for positive lifestyle changes, as many chronic diseases are a direct result of lifestyle habits (poor nutrition, medication overuse, stress, inadequate sleep, exposure to environmental toxins, and a sedentary lifestyle).

Dr. Jodi Kunkel is Mankato’s first and only registered naturopathic doctor (NP). Born and raised in Mankato, Dr. Kunkel firmly believes that high-quality patient care revolves around utilizing natural remedies to address the root causes of a disease, rather than just treating each symptom alone.

Dr. Kunkel is proud to treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Having a passion for the fluidity of botanical medicine, Dr. Kunkel ensures each of her patients gets the individualized attention they deserve with customized treatment plans. These treatment plans are aimed to treat a patient’s condition in its entirety, rather than covering up some of their symptoms. She also encourages each of her patients to be open to long-term positive lifestyle changes that can improve their health beyond a regimented medication plan.
